Looking for Barnard IN Gloucestershire and Surrey

I'm looking for information on John BARNARD bc 1791 possibly in GLS. He married Jane HOOPER, bc 1793, daughter of a Cheltenham GLS Potter. To date unable to find their marriage or baptisms or John's death. Family shows in 1841 Census living in Ely Place, Lambeth, Surrey. John was supposedly in the Royal Navy but was discharged due to ill health or injury. By 1851 census, Jane was a widow. I've obtained a number of Death Certs for John BARNARDs who died in SRY between 1841-1851 but all are incorrect. Any help appreciated.
