Looking for Cash of Virginia
I've traced back to Thomas Cash in Rockingham County, Va. He was born in April 1851 and had a brother Joe. His wife was Luella and the son of my interest is John Wesley Cash, my grandfather. I can't find out anything about Thomas's parents.

My father was Guy Oliver Cash born 3/4/1911, died 1/10/1992 (sometimes seen as Oliver Guy Cash) and my grandfather was John Wesley Cash, born on 11/12/1882, died 7/16/1956.
John's wife was Nora Dean. I can trace the Deans back a ways. Luella's parents were George Hiser born 1830 and Eliza J. (don't know maiden name) born 1835.
