Looking for Children of Joseph Charles Nathan Emma Penfold Nathan
Joseph Charles Nathan b 1846 d 1908 & Emma Penfold b d 1889 are my gg grandparents.
Joseph is one of the 11 Children of Henry Nathan & Jane Hearne.
I have a so little history of the Nathan side of our family, but the name has featured in my Grandmothers name(Emma Nathan Perry & now my Aunt (Rita Nathan Redshaw), so I have always been aware of the connection. Only recently my Mother gave me a Platter that has an engraving " Presented to the wife of JC Nathan 1905 by the Manawatu Lodge"
More information has come to hand.

I have some information regarding Emma Penfold and her parents, brothers and sisters. She was born in Australia and I am descended from her brother Charles who went to live in Queensland -his son Robert was my grandfather who came to NZ in the early 1900's. Her father Thomas Penfold was a convict. You may already have these details but get in touch if I can be of any help
