Looking for Confirmation of Jonathan Roberts 1760 1845 Parents

Jonathan Roberts (1760-1845) was married to Mary Elizabeth Wetzel (1760-1830). Jonathan was supposedly born in Greene Township, Forest County, PA and died in Monongalia, West Virginia. Some sources say his parents were Jonathan Roberts (1734-1799) and Elizabeth Carter (1737-?) but I cannot find confirmation of this. I need help confirming Jonathan's parentage.
