This is the family. Cannot find a Joel Deason in TN. There was another Joel Deason living in this area around this time, however his wife's name, his birth place, and year of birth are different. Kids names are similar but ages are different. Most of the above listed children can be traced with same ages on court papers, etc.

Many trees I have viewed have the Joel of 1799 and the Joel of 1810 as interchangeable. The Joel of 1799 was born in North Carolina. So I am looking for the linage of Joel Deason born 1810 in Tennessee.
