Looking for Death of Ebenezer Muir from Glasgow

Ebebezer was born in Glasgow on 16th Oct 1802 and married Jean Murdoch on 2 July 1850. I cannot find his death.I think it must be before 1861 as he is not on the census. In 1865 Ebenezer his son died any Help please Yera

Yera did you check the 1871 census, he could have been away when it was taken.
I cant think of any cemetries around the Gorbals then again the council have been busy bulldozing everything even the old cemetries. Joan
