Looking for Decendants of George Peters Baltimore Maryland Circa 1840 1900

I know he had one son Joseph Peters who jumped ship in Australia in 1867 and married Mary Ann White in 1870 and had 15 children, I believe he was from either the Cape Verde Islands or was African American.
