Looking for Edger Adelbert Mcwhinney and His Ancestors
Edgar A. McWhinney was my great-grandfather on my mother's side. He was married to Hattie B. Adams in April 28, 1888. My grandfather was Forest B. McWhinney and his brother was Fred Adelbert McWhinney. According to the census there was a sister, Helen McWhinney born 1901. I would like to know the parents (and as far back as you know, along with sources, please) of Edgar A. McWhinney as well as Hattie Adams

Actually, I think I found a generation or two back... I'm back to David McWhinney who was born in Ireland, but died in Maple Valley, Michigan in 1909. I found his death certificate on Ancestry.com (free trial membership) but I can't quite make out his parent's name, due to the very flowery handwriting of the day.
