Looking for Edward Nolan from Ireland Illinois

I have the Gravestone of one Edward Nolan; it says "Born in County Carlow Ireland"; he lived through May 29, 1832 - October 15, 1904. He lies in St Patricks Cemetery, Joliet, IL, USA.

We have plenty of censuses to show who his children and Grandchildren were, we just can't hook him up with his family in Carlow, Ireland!
