Looking for Elizabeth Cloud Cherokee Edward Cornwell Reynolds North Carolina and KY

I am at a brickwall with Elizabeth Cloud have been told she is Cherokee she is my GGG Grandmother on my mothers side of family. She married Newton Jett. looks like they were around Breathitt Co Ky. I also am at a brickWall on my Fathers side Edward Cornwell Sr is my GGGGG Grandfather and it is his Father my 6th G Grandfather that is the brickwall I can only find the name Cornwell and his Wife is Elizabeth no last name.I see where Edward SR was around Cleveland and rutherford nc. It does not say anything to where his father or mother was. I would appreciate any help you could give me.
