Looking for Embury family members in England.

Query by wasser

Looking for the parents of my convict ancestor John Embury, he was married to Hannah Barnett in England 3 girls from this union, we have contact with this side, he was sentenced to life on conviction for burgulary.
He married again in Tasmania to a fellow convict Catherine Kelly, four children 3 boys one girl, last boy died presumed cot death, or the official version from records in Launceston Tasmania.( By Visitation of God )
Our brick wall is we have no details from pre 1800 of his parents, our only details are from church records in London 1801-5 we know their names are Charles and Sophia Embury, no other details have emerged despite our research, all family history is complete or nearly so after 1852 when they moved by ship from Launceston to Melbourne on the mainland, during the gold rush period in Victoria.
I have DNA results but this is inconclusive as the other Embury family in Australia who arrived at Robe South Australia in about the mid 1800s were from South Leigh and that area of England.
We are the same grouping but have presumed seperate tribal ancestors as we differ on two Elles presumed cousins. Haplogrouping I1 for both groups, origin ?? from northern Europe Norse etc.

Warren Embury.

Thank you for those details,
Yes that is he, we recently discovered what we think is a sister born 1800 called Sophia, we presume she may have died as the baptism records at Lady Huntingdons chapel Spa Fields Clerkenwell on 5th May 1805 are only for John and Francis, later on Sophia was the name John gave his only girl child born in Tasmania
He was shipped on the Southworth 2 on 27th September 1833.
It's details about Charles and Sophia the parents of John we cannot find despite help from members of his 1st marriage family still living in the UK.
Regards Warren Embury
