Looking for Family of Denis Moore B 1814 IN Queens County Ireland
Family lore says Mountrath but can't be sure. He joined the Ordnance Survey and roamed all over Ireland picking up a wife (Bridget Law) and having a couple of children before leaving Ireland with the Survey for good.
His father's name was Fenton Moore, a butcher. His census while in Scotland in 1851 lists a brother named Anthony living with him and a nephew named Fenton, both b. around 1830 but as there was a 16 year age difference with Anthony, so could have been an error with their relationship.
I've been at this many years but working from the States so limited. Casting this message out in hopes someone will catch it :) Thanks

Hope this helps you & remember to check authenticity of info. Also thanks to provider of the said tree.
Harry.
Thank you so much Harry. I really appreciate your time. As luck would have it, that tree...is me! :) I seem to be the only one climbing it I'm afraid.
I realized I also had written my message in the wrong manner. What I meant to say is I know most everything after Denis Moore left Ireland (well, never everything!) and all my brickwalls are during his birth and time in Ireland prior to leaving.
Again Harry, thanks so much!
Brenda
Awe Brenda so sorry about that, al see if I can find outanything else.
Harry
No worries Harry! I appreciate it anyway :)
