Looking for Family of Robert Stanley Webber
Hi
I am looking for the family of my great great grandfather Robert Stanley Webber born around 1869 in Germany
He married Isabella Margaret Wilson in 1899 in New Zealand and had Francis Eva Webber in Feb 1900. Robert died in New Zealand in 1948. He mainly resided in Christchurch. I have no further information about his parents and cant seem to find any. Does anyone have any ideas where a good site to go to for german ancestors?

Stanley married Isabella, Isabella left her husband and two children 1912 she came to Dunedin ( where I live ) had two more children and adopted them out, one being my mum, so Eva is mum's half sister
Stanley was born Rogarzen Prussia Europe
Son of John Webber farmer and bushman & Annie Frances Pielarski
Where abouts do you fit in ? You must be on Eva's side

wow thanks for all that information, I have since moved from Oamaru and now live in Hamilton. I have the death certificate for Stanley Webber and could never make out where he was born as the hand writing was so bad, so thank you so much for that. I will be down in Oamaru around the middle of February. I was born in Blenheim and most of my fathers side of the family were born down there and still have some family there. Stanley Webber was on my mothers side, Frances Eva Webber was my great grandmother.

Isabella never remarried,my mum's father is George Cox, her brother has the same father, as far as I know
Mum thought she was a twin, until I took her to the adoption centre to find out her brother was 13 months younger

What do you know about the family ? Have you any Photo's
I believe Robert and Eva were wonderful people
