I want to confirm parents of my great grandfather, JAMES RICHARD WINFIELD FORSHEE, born Monroe County, TN on Nov. 5, 1851. Died Nov. 1 1894, buried in Herod Cemetery in MO. Married Mary Ann Harry c. 1874.

I believe his parents to be JOSEPH FORSHEE and LOUISA ANN ALLEN.

Joseph Forshee, who married Louisa Allen, was one of several children of John F Forshee 1770-1850 and Agness Weston 1773 - 1850. I am a descendant of John W. Forshee, a brother of your James Richard Winfield Forshee. This ia according to information I received from a cousin of mine, Alberta Sapienza, who did extensive work researching the Forshee line in Missouri.
