Looking for Francis Herbert Harwood Little River Banks Peninsula New Zealand

I am trying to find my Grandfather Francis Herbert Harwood, he and my Grandmother divorced, in New Zealand, he disappeared we do not know where. Some people believe that he settled in British Columbia, my aunt had a photograph of him in ww1 army uniform, again, we do not know where he went to.

His younger brother August Harwood was killed in the Dardanelles on 5 May 1915 and is buried at Pine Ridge at Gallipoli. Any information on Francis Herbert Harwood, would be appreciated.
