I have been surprised to find so much about my family when I grew up thinking we were the only ones of the name in Australia and knew nothing of family in England. I have traced back to Stephen 1798-1857 & his wife Mary 1796-1845. I know of two sons, James and Stephen, and I am from Stephens side.
It has been a real surprise to find there are quite a few Fullaloves in Australia. My grandparents,John Stephen [Steve] c1859-1927 and wife Janet Young 1874-1961 brought their family to Australia in 1925 on the "Largs Bay". They settled in Sydney. It would seem that there were already a number of Fullalove families in Australia. I understand a cousin of Steve's had come here before his family but as yet haven't found them. Janet's brother Willie Young and wife Annie had settled here not long before his sister arrived.
