Looking for FULLER COWARD from March, Cambridge and origin of name.

Query by Jackster

I believe I am a direct of a John T Fuller who is shown on the 1901 Census as 13 yrs old, living in Oldham and born in March Cambridge. I believe him to be John Thomas Fuller Coward the son of John Fuller (Census) whom I believe to be John Fuller Coward a Bricklayer from March. I am trying to confirm my belief and the origins of the name, but also why it is rarely used.

The census enumerator obviously missed off the Coward surname which is clearly shown on the 1891 Census when they were in Grimsby
