Looking for Further Information on a William Cuzzort Born IN VA

William CUZZORT born about 1800 in VA was married to a Martha.
Their children all state that they were born in Alabama. The appear in Nashville, TN in the mid 1850's, however I cannot locate William.
Children born to William and Martha were: James, George, William Jr., Jesse, Henry and Emaline.
