Dear familydetective, I don't think this is my family. I have my John Parker, father of George as being born 30-4-1798. On your tree that would make him 13 years old at marriage and 15 years old at the birth of his first child? Thank you for your help.
There are several John Parkers baptised in St. Leonards Shoreditch, how sure are you of the birth date of 30 Apr 1798

It is possible that you may have the wrong date of birth for your John Parker.
George born 24 Jan 1817, ties in with the Marriage of John & Matilda in 1811 and if John was 18-21 he would be born 1793-1790, the first baptism 1792 looks promising.
The marriage record does not indicate ages, it does include that they were both of the parish and the witnesses were William Hall & Ann Hanscombe.
Do you have John's death and does it indicate any parents names?
All the children above are the siblings of George born 24 Jan 1817 who's parents are John Parker and I believe Matilda Hall. What was the surname of your Matilda and where and when did they marry ?
Dear familydetective, thank you for your further information. I'll print it out and go back to the drawing board. As you suggest, my DOB may be incorrect. I'll be in touch.
Dear shellyb, familydetective and asheppard, I thank you all in advance for your efforts to assist me, however the only definite certificate that I have is the marriage of George Parker and Mary Ann Chilton DOM 20 May 1838, in the Parish Church, Parish of Whitchurch. MXE 760417. This shows that they were both "of age" which means that they were born in 1817 or earlier. George was a drover from Finchley Middlesex. His father was John Parker also a drover. Mary Ann was unemployed, from Whitchurch, her father was named George and I can't decipher his occupation. The name Matilda I picked up through Green Leaf on Ancestry, but am not sure if that is correct. As you realize that is about the extent of official records, I now have to try and locate church records, or information from people like your good selves.
This looks possible for Mary Ann in 1851, but it could be another family.
