Looking for Gossett S and Marciano S from Pennsylvania and Ohio
I am from a large family: I have four bother and three sisters; Melodie, Jason, Richard, Lydia, Dean, Aaron, Jessica. My father; Richard married my mother; Susan Conley. My father’s parents are Ed Gossett and Alice Marciano. They are from East Millsboro PA and currently live in Brownsville PA. We have a long line of coal miners, steel mill workers, and truck drivers in our family. My great grandma-fathers fathers mother- Maude Gossett was from East Millsboro PA , she is buried there next to my bother Jason and mother Susan.
I do not have much information other than that and am trying to the rest of my family. I know that there are members of the family out there that I do not know. I would love to be able to complete the family tree. I think that family is the most important thing and also knowing where you come from is important. We did lose a lot of our personal history moving a lot my father was in the army and we had a house fire about 20 years ago and lost many things.
I am also trying to put our family tree together for when my nieces and nephews get older I can tell them where they come from. Anyone out there with any information, I would appreciate any help!
From your journal entry cannot tell what data you have. If you are just beginning, start with the older members of the family to see what they know, check census records - they are available to 1930.
I have that is how I have but my grandparents (fathers) are not in the best of health and the other grandparents (mothers) do not talk to our side of the family. There is also another part of the family that my grandmother (fathers mother) had severed all contact with before she even had kids so the family that is around now don't know who they are (the Marciano side). Most of the family is scattered that it is hard to get information. I am waiting for some information from family in CA but it will be awhile. That is why I turned to the internet, but I have come across so much information that I am not sure how to varify is they are a part of my family or not.
