Looking for Grindrod of Blackpool Lancashire England

I am trying to find any information on Fred Allen GRINDROD who was born in Bury, Lancashire in 1898 to William and Alice. He lived at 2 Thorn Street, Bury before moving to Blackpool, Lancashire, where he married and had a daughter, Irene. He worked in Blackpool as an Accountant until his death on 18th November 1957. I am particulary looking for the mainen name of his wife. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
