looking for Harth in Germany or elsewhere in the world

Query by alisah

Hello,
My grandfather, Dr. Josef Harth was born in 1871 in Bad Homburg (germany). His parents were Konrad Harth - who was catholic and Betchen Siedberg who was Jewish. According to a friend of the family (I never heard about it when my parents and my aunt were still alive)my grandfather studied Theology (in order to become a priest) but realized that Jewdaism is the "true" religion and converted. He moved to Bentheim, married Adele ( ne Block) and had 2 childeren: Gertrud and Rudolf (my father). They moved to Koeln and my grandfather was 30 years the headmaster of Moriya seminar in Koeln. During the Nazi regime he became a teacher (in biology) in the Yawne school in Koeln. My grandparents were deported to the Lodge gehto in 1941 and were murderd there in 1942-3.
Their 2 children - Gertrud and Rudolf fled Germany and came to Palestine. My father Rudolf (and mother Ruth) lived in Tel-Aviv , he was a carpenter, and my aunt Dr. Gertrud Harth lived in Haifa and was an Orthodont.I was born in 1946.
I would like to find out if my grandfather had any siblings, or other relatives, what happened to them and to his parents etc.Maybe there are students of his who can tell me about him, or any other information or even pictures or books which can throw a light - will be wonderfull.
Thank you.
