Looking for Hilton of New Kent CO VA and England

I have John Hilton's line from 1682 though present time but am trying to find out where in the UK he came from. Our John Hilton was the church sexton of St. Peters Parish in New Kent Co., VA. His wife's name was Elizabeth but we don't know her last name or where they were ,married.
