Looking for Info on Dinah Giddins

Dinah Giddins (born in Kurrajong, NSW), the 4th child of William Giddins and Harriett Barwick had 3 children. The 3rd child, Oliver Giddins (born in Kurrajong, NSW), is my great-grandfather.

Oliver's 1913 Marriage Certificate indicates that his mother is deceased. However, I have the following for Dinah Giddins:

- Noted on the 1903 Electoral Roll in Queensland
- Queensland BDM's online index indicates a marriage to Denis Brennan in 1903
- Listing on further Queensland Electoral Rolls up until 1925 in the name of Dinah Brennan

Given this contradiction, I would be grateful if anyone could provide information on Dinah Giddins. In particular, whether Dinah Brennan from Queensland was the Dinah Giddins from Kurrajong, NSW.

I was going to tell you about the other GIDDINS researcher and his Journal. But I see you have written to him already. Sounds like the same family so I hope he replies to u soon.

Good luck with your work.

Cheers

Regarding Dinah GIDDINS marrying Denis BRENNAN in 1903 Queensland, Australia ... I had come to the same conclusion. As genealogists we gather as much 'proof' as we can, but sometimes pure guesswork is correct.

My connection to the GIDDINS family is Anna MOST 1867~1933(sister of my ancestor) married 1899 Inverell NSW to Ernest Henry GIDDINS died 1944 Bodangra near Wellington NSW, whom I believe was the son of Harry GIDDINS of Kurrajong and Mary Burgess DOUGLAS.
