Looking for Info on George K Doss of Pittsylvania County VA

George K. Doss was my Great great grandfather. He was married to Mary Ann Dalton. I Believe he died in the Civil war, but have found no records to prove it. We do not know if he had any brothers or sisters but think he might have had a sister named Amy and WE think his mother was Rachel. But neither have been been proven.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
