Looking for Info on John August 1736 1810

John August b: 1736 Hanover Germany, d: 1810 New Castle county Delaware, m: Elizabeth Springer b: 1739 New Castle county Delaware, d: 1799 New Castle county Delaware.

I have found some online information stating that John's ancestors are of a royal blood line, but can not find "hard" proof of this. John is my g-g-g-g-g-great grandfather from my maternal grandmother's side. His name is listed in the Pigeon Roost Massacre book that my grandmother has, but the above information is all that is listed.
