Looking for Info on Willis Gates and Ella B Cunningham
Willis Gates, Sr. and Ella B.Cunningham were my great grandparents. I am looking for info on Ella's birth, death and her parent's names. I also need info on my grandfather Willis Gates, Jr. He was born Oct.13, 1903 in Mobile, AL and married my grandmother, Lucille Washam (license says Washington) on Aug.7, 1923. He left his family in AL for Cincinnati, OH in the late 1930s.
Willis Gates, Sr. is from the George T. Gates and Emma Jones Gates family from Mobile, Alabama.

Hi Kathy, thanks for responding. Yes, he is the Willis Gates who married Ella B. Cunningham on Jan. 6, 1903. I have the full copy of the license with his father;s signature and all. The Ella B. Cunningham b.1877 in West Virginia that you have is not my great grandmother. Willis Jr's (my grandfather) birth certificate says she was born in Alabama as well. My Ella B. was younger than Willis SR, who was born in 1883. Her birth year would be between 1883-1886 I'm thinking. But I'm not 100% sure. Thanks again for your help.
