Looking for Info Regarding Ancestors of Daniel Amos Sr Married to Orpah Oprah Cooper

Many relatives have been searching for the parents of Daniel for many years. Nothing concrete as yet. I have just recently taken up this task. I have traced on Orpah's family line many generations. Through much confusion I believe the name McComas comes into play very importantly, but not sure. My gut tells me this man's father was William Amos..known as The Quaker. However, have not been able to sufficiently prove this. Any information would be wonderful.
