Looking for Information About Johann Nicholas Fuchs of Milwaukee Wisconsin

Johann Nicholas Fuchs, a shoemaker and son of Frederick Adam Fuchs, arrived in New York from Prussia in 1842. He remained there for about five years before migrating to Milwaukee, where he worked as a cigar roller. I am looking for any information about him, including where in Prussia he is from, his parents, grandparents, children, etc. He married Catharine Koch, about whom I am also searching for information.
