Witnesses to the marriage were Richard SILLWOOD and William OATS.

tonkin on 2010-07-19 18:04:12I also thought that Mary OATS was connected to my family lines but I have since crossed her off my list. The records for ODGERS in Gerrans do not tell us much.
John's parents may have been John ODGERS and Margery RUNNOLDS married in Gerrans in 1733.
There was a John ODGERS baptised in Gerrans in 1736, but his parents are not named. I expect the records are so faded the names of the parents are unreadable.
There was also a Margery ODGERS baptised in Gerrans in 1741. Her father is named as John, but the mother is not named.
John and Margery may be the children of John and Margery ODGERS, but I do not know if this is the same John married to Mary OATS.
