Welcome DebbieKay.

To assist with record searches it would help if you included Billy's year and place of birth, including Billy's correct birth name. Mother's name may also help with record searches depending on country of birth.

The two marriage details for William (Bill) James GREENWELL may also assist with tracking him down. The more details you give will assist other members willing to assist you with research.

Thank you for your suggestions. It's quite late now. I'll put in any other information I can locate on my next visit.
Again, thank you.

Yes, William ("Bill) James Greenwell is/was my birth father. He married his second wife, my mother Tena Davis in 1951 or 1952. Their first child was born on 10-17-1952 in Quantico, VA. Their second child (ME / Deborah Kay) was born on 11-17-1953 in Memphis, TN, Shelby, County. My birth certificate says he was 28 years old. It also says his profession was, "Welder." There were 2 more children born. One on 12-27-1956 and the second on 02-26-1958. Both born in Los Angeles, CA. I am sorry to say, I doubt that he is still living, but if so he would be about 90 yrs. of age.

He was a heavy drinker and was arrested more than once in Memphis and Los Angeles.

This is all I know. I have wondered all of my life about "Bill.". My mother has now passed so I feel it's now okay
