Hi Almack I would really like to help but can you please give anything else about her like spouse or place of death as I have already found 7 Elizabeths born in 1789.

Almack

Sorry, pretty new at this. Elizabeth was transported at age 19 years to Australia arriving in Sydney 26-01 1809.She was assigned to Stephen Wain/Vane (1773-1827) and died at The Rocks, Sydney in 1821. I have the court transcripts and coroners report into her death. As a colored woman it is suggested her parents were Jamaican or from Baton Rouge. If I could just get a link to her birth certificate or christening I would be more than happy. Thank you very much for trying to assist me and for sure I will leearn to supply more information in the future. Many Thanks and Cheers Al.

Hi, Elizabeth had 2 children to Stephen and died in labour with a third. You have the right Elizabeth and as far as I can gather she never married Stephen. Thanks again, cheers.

ALV

It seems they were never married and had a son William as well.

i have just read the court accounts. An intriguing story.

The problem is I have found nothing on her
