looking for information on family of Salvatore Rotolo, married to Rosina Sampino. Went to war in first world war. Lived in Palermo Sicily, then moved to Rome Italy for work after the war. Had family in either New York or New jersey that had called him over but they did not come.Went to Rome with his wife and his three daughters, Grace, Francesca and Vincenza. Died in early 1950. Rosina and 3 daughters went to Guelph, Ontario Canada with their families

Salvatore Rotolo - b-1793 m- 1820- Rosa Salvaggio -b-1800 may be his grandparents . They had ( 3 ) sons Vincenzo // Amodeo // Filippo .all from the area in Sicily One of them may have been his father . may be worth a look at family search.org I have been able to extract quite a bit of info from Italian / European records over the years from www.publicrecordcenter.com . has over 40 countries listed with many record centres available . Thank you so much edmond. having a difficult time finding any information from palermo, sicily or just sicily. I will check those sites. You may be right it might be his father or grandfather. They repeat the names every generation.
