Looking for Information on Gerardus Gerrits Dob 04 21 1800

I am looking for information on Gerardus Gerrits who was born 04/21/1800 in Oploo Netherlands and emigrated to the USA Port of New York approximately 1851. His family settled in Wisconsin but we have no information on where he settled.
