Looking for Information on Maud Peters Daughter of Joseph Peters the Black Fiddler Dromana Queenscliff

Looking for information on Maud Mary Peters (later married with surname Hilton) especially in regards to a birth father of her daughter Olive May Peters born May 1900, Carlton Victoria. Olive was made a State of the Ward not long after she was born. No information about a birth father is present on any documents unfortunately?.
Maud was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Ann Peters and was born 1882 in Dromana. Any information on the entire family would also be wonderful. Olive's daughter Beryl (my grandmother) is still with us at the young age of 96! and we would love to find some answers.....
