Your father 'Pod' Harrison (1914-1998), was a son of William Creed HARRISON (1884-1939) born Staffordshire & Jean Dalziell BELL (1891-1967) born Blenheim of Scottish parents. He served with the Royal New Zealand Air Force as NZ404870 enlisting at the age of 26. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross (DSO) twice

your maternal grandparents were Charles PATTISON & Dora Louisa WHITE (1883-1970)
Dora was 1 of 13 children of John WHITE & Fanny SEBLEY (your mother inheriting her name) Was this a son of Charles & Dora? (your uncle) John Gordon PATTISON (1917-2009), Squadron Leader NZ39931. He was presented with the Legion d'Honneur in 2004 from President Jacques Chirac in thanks for his role in helping liberate France from the Nazis

My cousin Robert (son of Sir Richard) has complied the family tree. My interest lies in the English connection and dad's war record when stationed in UK during the war. Am hoping to visit some of the ancestors grave sites and find more about their background.
