Mr. J. C. Ross The death occurred suddenly on October 26 of Mr. John Constantine Ross,47, who had actively identified himself with numerous branches of Murray Bridge life. Mr. Ross was formerly employed by the Railways Department, but was superannuated two years ago, because of ill-health. He was born at Gladstone, being a son of the late, Mr. and Mrs. C. Ross. He was married at Goolwa on May 28, 1912, to Ada Ellen Davies, who with one son and five daughters, survives. Mr. Ross was a member of the local rifle club, sergeant of the local branch of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, and a member of the Methodist Church, in which he gave service as a local preacher.
