Looking for John H Swan Canada
Looking for my Uncle John (Jack) Harper Swan, born 1947 in Greenock, Scotland. Emigrated to Canada sometime after 1971 after his 1st wife died.
As far as I know his 2nd wife was called Barbara and have 3 cousins who I think are called John, Alec & Peggy.

Do you have any idea where in Canada.....Eastern Canada, Western Canada, Ontario, etc. If you know where, you could put a posting on rootsweb also under that area you think they might be living. The more people that see your posting the better obtaining information.

Never heard of Canada411, have tried other methods before.
I don't know if he is still alive after all these years, last I heard he was in poor health with heart problems.
A bit wary of phoning up someone who may not be him or turning an already ugly relationship into something more.
Will give it a try though, even an e-mail addr would do.
