Looking for John Henry Cooper of Coalsville Leicester Born Mid 1800s

Looking for John Henry Cooper born Leicester mid 1800
last information I have was he was a Police Inspector and living in Sivaka in 1917.
My father-in law Charles Cooper 17-12-1916 was his son.
Charles was placed in The Don Bosco Orphanage not sure when but he would have been young,and never spoke about his father.
Johns wives name was Mary belived to be to be Irish I have no information on her.
