Looking for John Morgan Dugdale of Wales
John Morgan DUGDALE was born in Wales about 1857, joined the Navy aged about 16, may have been involved with a
mutiny on board ship, thought to have deserted ship at Newfoundland. Supposed to have changed his name and
returned to work in the Navy yards. None of this is substantiated. He came to NZ where he married Margaret
Mitchell CARGILL in 1883 in Dunedin, Otago, NZ.
Was he really involved in the mutiny and where was that? Where else was he before he came to NZ?
Does his marriage certificate give any information on his parents.
His death details say lived in NZ for 40 years Resident of Wellington, Occ: Shunter.
