Looking for John N Douglass B 25 Feb 1832 Married to Mary Isabella Barrett of NY

Want to find John's ancestors and his birth place. He was my grandmother's grandfather born either in Ireland or Scotland. All of
his children were born in Cold Spring Harbor, LI, NY. Any help
