Looking for John Rae of Crawford Lanark
Who was born abt 1771. Married Janet Gibson. Children were William, John, Isabella Gibson and Mary. John Rae (son) married Helen McFarlane 1818 in Barony. William married Elizabeth Campbell who immigrated to NZ.
I am decended from Isabella Rae Letham(1822 to 1896) who was the wife of John Letham and daughter of John Rae and Helen McFarlane as above. Isabella and John had six children in New Zealand and I am descended from their only son James.
