Try the name Riordan, too. On my tree I have a Timothy F Riordan, 1 of 12 children born between 1810 and 1832 in Fonnought, Donoughmore, Cork, Ireland. Timothy was born 1817, moved with his parents to Bradford, Yorkshire, England in 1845 where 2 unknown children died, and moved to America in 1848. In US censuses his name is spelled Reardon.

His father, Dennis, and mother, Ellen, were also born in Fonnought. Hope this narrows down the search a bit.
