Looking for John William Daley

John William Daley is my grandfather- his nickname was "Malacca Jack"
He was born approximately 1885? in Portagusta,South Australia. His mother's name is Blanche Daley
He marred Ethel Stone Williams in Wilcannia, NSW on 17/3/1925? age 37?
He died 28/8/1950 age 55/62/65? in Broken Hill. The death registry no is 20175/1950.

John was a bullock driver and a colt breaker in his younger days

John enrolled in the army in 1915, in Keswick SA and was discharged on 5.4.1918.
John was in the war (don't know which one) in the 48thbattallion. His service record number is 2462.

And that is all I have - no dates for birth, marriage.

I am determined to show the family that he did exist and has a history, whatever that may be.
