Looking for Joseph and Christina Lyons Parents of James Charles Lyons 1850 1921

I am wanting to know more about my grandfather James Charles LYONS parents, Joseph and Christina LYONS to learn where James was born and when.
James Charles LYONS immigrated to Australia in 1883. James settled in rural Victoria and married my grandmother, Annie Maria KELLY in 1903. Their marriage certificate details James occupation then was farmer, age 52, birth place London and his parents were Joseph and Christina LYONS. Joseph's occupation is detailed; "Lieutenant (deceased)".
James LYONS died in Sydney New South Wales Australia in 1921. His death certificate details his age then was 73 and his father was Joseph LYONS, occupation Army Captain.
A search of England Census 1841 to 1901 did not find a Joseph LYONS, wife Christina LYONS. Nor did those census records list a Christina LYONS, son James born around 1850.
