Looking for Kaines Best from England

Im in New Zealand and trying to track down Mary ann Caines (Best) b 1781 d 1836.
Richard Kaines b 1717-1839.
Ive gone along way back now I,m stuck. I see that they keep altering surnames.
Any help would be appreciated
