Looking for Keen of South Canterbury New Zealand

I am researching the Keen family of Geraldine and need the connection back to either Southland or Otago. In particular I need to find William Hollan Shandon Shadwell Keen born about 1864. His middle names are interesting. Can anyone fill me in with the connection to other families?
