Do you have any further information about the children. I have relatives named Kerr in Scotland William Kerr born 1813, James kerr his son born 1842 but I have no information beyond William Kerr. I am aware that he married Elizabeth Cullen on the 16/12/1838. And I believe that there are from Old Monkland near Lanarkshire Scotland. Are these the same Kerr's?

Most of my Kerrs came from Castleton, Roxburgh,but have found them in Edinburgh,Dumfries,and some from Lanark, as well as a few other places, I do have a William born in Roxburgh that died in Scourie, Sutherland. He was born in 1816. I'm Not sure if this is related.As i only have as far back as Walter Kerr born 1744 and died 1817. He probably had family , but i have not found brothers or sisters for him, so there is a chanch they are related.

My Samuel Kerr was a sargeant in a British regiment in Northern Ireland in the 1820, 1830 and 1840.
His son, also named Samuel joined the British army and was transferred to NSW in 1844.
