I have KIRKs in my ancestry from Glendevon/Muckhart, which I have in Perth County.

Alexander KIRK born in 1787 is my 5th great-grandfather. I have his father as James KIRK baptised in Muckhart in 1732 & James's father as Alexander KIRK married to Margaret PATON in Muckhart in 1716.

Can we compare notes outside this forum - at brijentur(at)xtra.co.nz?
