Looking for Lees IN Otago

Hi I am trying to find proof of the birth place of Harriet Louisa Lees born about 1849 . I think she was born in Australia but cannot find any records of her.Her parents were William Lowder Lees and Elizabeth Mary Kinnersley.They arrived in Australia around 1845.Any information on the family would be great.
